History
The year 1951 was the beginning of the relationship between Fernando Wong and agriculture, he began to plant the first seedlings of mandarin Huaral valley 100 km north of Lima. Later in 1984 he began its export activities by founding EIRL SUNSHINE later called SUNSHINE EXPORT S.A.C. company that has become one of the largest agro-exporters in the country.
Through the years SUNSHINE exported citrus, figs, cucumbers, pomegranates, onions, melons and since 1991 started exporting mangoes, the later being our main export product.
In 2005, Sunshine increase its plant capacity of fresh and frozen plant built through a partnership with the Trans-Andean Fund, a private fund managed by SEAF PERU, with these new activities allows them to give direct employment to over 2.000 people.
SUNSHINE EXPORT Today S.A.C. exports more than 15,000 MT of fresh mangoes, frozen and dehydrated to various markets such as USA, Canada, England, Italy, France, Spain, Netherlands, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Japan, with a market share of 10 to 15%.
