In 1985, we started this exporting adventure, to operate a business unknown both by us and the fruit producers in our country. Exporting perishable products was a dramatic and instructive experience, since at the beginning we did not know much about packing, ripening, logistics, tracking and many other topics that we deal with today.

It was a difficult challenge to overcome and I believe that we have done it with success. Nowadays SUNSHINE Export is a modern company that has adapted to the new times. We reach diverse and demanding markets such as The United States, Canada, France, United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Italy, Spain and Hong Kong. We have achieved access to these markets through the quality of our brands SUNSHINE, SUNGOLD and CHOLITA. SUNSHINE Export has always wanted to be in the vanguard of quality management. We have received HACCP acreditation, implementation of good farming practices (GFP) and good manufacturing practices (GMP). In addition we are in the process of EUREPGAP certification of our lands, a necessary requirement to enter the european market.

This internet portal is the symbol of a new stage: we are conscious of the benefits of technology and how it makes communication more fluid and accessible for all the members of the productive chain. Both clients and suppliers will have access to our database that will provide them with relevant information in real time.

I want to thank all the people who work and have worked in our company, because due to their contribution and caring they showed in their work, our company has been able to maintain and grow in the overseas markets. Similarly, I thank our business partners, the mango producers of Piura, Lambayeque and Ancash. You, my friends, are a component of vital importance in our business and a motivation to continue in this area. We work together year after year. I appreciate your trust and be sure that we will never betray you. This relationship is our principal strength and contributes to our ability to be the best exporter of mangoes from Peru.

I also owe my gratitude to our foreign clients, friends with whom we have been working for many years and who have been witnesses of our struggle to strengthen and consolidate business relationships.

I want to conclude with the vision I have of the future. I see SUNSHINE as one of the largest agroindustrial companies in the hemisphere, as a highly competitive and diversified company, as a company with valuable human resources as a company which generates value for its farmers, clients and investors, and above all as a company which produces and brings well-being to our country.
